How the British Museum treats its visitors

These pictures show how the BM has denuded its displays in order to place them in their new Exhibition about the Celts.

They have shown no respect at all for the Permanent Galleries or for its visitors.  Over the summer, they just stripped the cases one by one and did not replace any of the objects or do anything with the cases, just left them as if with contempt for the visitors.  They have recently put up a couple of adverts to cover the case but this is months late, and even so not an adequate replacement for important objects.

There are so many ways the museum could have used these spaces but they just left them bare, like a failing museum with no money.

I'm a little bit shocked, and also disturbed that my three communications about this subject have yet to be addressed.
