Ministry of Stories

Parliament’s Education Service has teamed  up with the Ministry of Stories, based in

Hoxton, to help promote the art of writing  and delivering speeches.

As part of its Young People Speak Up  scheme, aimed at promoting confidence in

public speaking, students from the Bridge Academy were asked to turn their passions

into speeches, which they presented in Parliament.

Meg Hillier MP said ' I was proud to hear the fantastic speeches delivered by the students'.

This one I did because the London Archaeologist had an article by Barbora Brederova about an excavation in the Fields, and it gave information not clearly listed on Wikipedia. How London is Divided Up

The LDA - London Development Agency divides London up as follows: I have no idea who made these decisions but clearly some are not so obvious. For example, Southwark is in the Central Region but the City is in the Eastern Region given that all the bridges across the Thames in Southwark join up with the City this seems crazy!
