The Goldilocks Enigma
Great quote in an article in the Observer about a book called the Goldilocks enigma by Paul Davies - Einstein is said to have said:
the most incomprehensible thing about the Universe is that it is comprehensible.
The book is about the anthropic principle which is that the universe is constructed exactly to suit us - if things were different it would not work.
It is the best of all universes in the multiverse of universes?
Was the universe made by God - if so who created him/her/it?
Is God a designer of laws not species? A facilitator not a creator?
