Museums outplay the Football League

The Travers Report National Museum Directors' Conference: Travers Report, Dec 06 has pointed out that more people attend museums that go to watch football matches, or go to the Theatre.

The report highlights the economic and social impact of Museums and reports that this economic success is in danger if the sector remains underfunded.
