Medicine at the Movies Premier!

On March 13th the Old Operating Theatre Museum, Medicine at the Movies team went to Leeds to see our film made by Shaun Levin and Simona Piantieri and a team of writers.

It was a really good day and the film was excellent. The other films by the BDA, Thackray Museum, Jenner Museum, Hunterian Museum and the George Marshall Medical Museum were all excellent and also very moving.

They were typified by the BDA's film which was made by a really great group who were created a really sweet and funny film full of humanity and using effective but simple animation techniques. It was obvious that the learning experience was really very successful and enjoyable for the participants. It just shows how successful a learning environment a museum can be.

The films are soon to be posted on youtube and I'll post a link here.
